Levin’s tube is a flexible, single-lumen gastrostomy tube with a smooth and round tip that is used for short-term treatment and is inserted via the nose to the stomach. It supports the gastric decompression, fluid or gas drainage, as well as sampling. The draining is done through lateral holes, which provide better drainage and less pain at the same time. The tube is made out of either medical-grade PVC or rubber, which makes it the most suitable for emergency, surgical, and diagnostic procedures. Safe and dependable gastric management is guaranteed.
