A 'Ryle's Tube' is a specialized medical tube for gastric intubation. It is often used for short- or medium-term nutritional support, as well as for aspiration of stomach contents for example,for decompression of intestinal obstruction. It is inserted through the nose or mouth into the stomach, allowing the administration of nutrition, fluids, or medications directly when oral intake is not possible.
