A ventilator circuit refers to a highly specialized medical device that acts as an interface between a patient and a ventilator in terms of providing controlled amounts of oxygen or gas mixtures and also removing exhaled air safely. The device has inspiratory and expiratory parts, filters, connectors, and sometimes a humidifier and offers breathing support that has low resistance, comfort, sterility, and infection control.
