Thoracic Trocar Catheter
Sizes: 08 to 40
The Thoracic Trocar Catheter is an instrument that is sterile and can be used for evacuation of air due to pneumothorax or to draw off fluid (blood, chyle, pus) from pleural effusion or empyema. The flexible catheter is inserted into the chest wall through the use of a sharp trocar, which allows for minimal trauma and easy access.
