Scalp vein set (butterfly needle) is intended for temporary IV access and is suitable for pediatric, geriatric, and people with feeble or delicate veins. The set has a flexible, color-coded wing system, which provides secure and comfortable handling. Moreover, it is equipped with an ultra-sharp thin-wall needle, which, at the same time, causes less discomfort. The kink-resistant tubing guarantees a secure connection. Scalp vein sets are available in various gauges and can be employed for blood sampling, medication delivery, and short-term infusion.
